Clay: yeah. I thought he was going to have a panic attack

Melanie: You're jealous because someone is talking to me. Someone I've been friends with this whole time while you were dating other people. My brother won't believe how I feel about you. If I can prove that I tried not to be with you, and actually tried to look outside of us, and still chose you then he'll stop being an asshole about it. By brother is basically my father in this scenario.

Alex: Who do I talk to besides you?

Crap .. Was he okay ?

( laughs ) jealous ? Right .. Because I am sure if Jessica would
waltz up here right now and try to talk to me, you'd have a face.
And what are you trying to say? That you're gonna see this guy
in hoping your brother would back off and let us be together ?

( tilts her head to the side, looking up at him; smiles )

Clay: Monty attacked him for being with Melanie. It wasn't pretty

Melanie: Fuck Jessica. You were in love with her, and you know how I feel about that you asshole. You are so quick to write me off because I'm doing whatever I can to make it where we can be together. Again, I'm fighting for us and you're turning against me. My brother thinks you're not good for me, and he didn't believe that you even make me happy because he's only see me cry because of you, he's never seen us two together and be happy (shakes her head and turns to raise her hand to get the teacher's attention) I'm not feeling well can I go to the nurse? (nods when she gets approval and gets up grabbing her stuff and leaving the room)

Alex: Is it working?

Chloe: I have my moments. (smiles) I'm not just good at cheer

Jeff: Then by all means keep him occupied with dating because he's like a brother I never asked for

Deni: unfair advantage! It takes me like 5 steps to equal your one.

[ JUSTIN | :
( waits a minute before asking if he could use the bathroom to go
follow her; sees her and pulls her into the red room they use for
photography, noticing no one in there; locks the door ) you talk about
me always running away and you're the one doing it now . How do you
think that I felt, the moment I heard you telling your brother you'd
leave me alone if he left me alone . It truly fucking hurt .

( smiles ) it is .. I didn't think you liked me like that .

[ ZACH | :

Clay: The way he was acting Sheri, it's more serious than with Jess

Melanie: what did you want me to do? Let him hurt you? I went to Bryce's house, alone, to fulfill a date deal with him to keep him from turning my brother in to the police and made him swear to leave you the hell alone too. My brother was pissed. (shakes her head) But this is the only way I can protect people I love. I make deals in whatever way I can without hurting myself. (pushes at his chest) And you decide to be that asshole that brings up Jessica. Who you always chose over me. (pushes at him again) I fucking went on a date with Bryce for both of you assholes and one tells me to leave you alone, and you try to hurt me.

Wow, I didn't think it was that serious. I wish there

( smiles and stands up ) you don't have to do anything to

boyfriend card after tonight .

Ahh, you're right . ( smiles and leans up, kissing his jaw )
so I got us tickets to go catch the LA Dodgers play against
the New York Mets .

[ MONTY | :
( laughs and leans his hand up, slowly sliding her scrunchie out
of her head ) I want to see how this looks down.

Clay: well unless you know how to speak to Monty then I don't think we can help

Melanie: You brought up Jessica, Justin. You know that hurts me. And you got mad because my friend was talking to me. I'm not in love with him. I never have been. Do you not see the difference between the two? Hell yes I'm jealous of her, because you always went back. You want to know how my night went Justin? I got to have the guy I love tell me that my brother not wanting us together, changed everything. I got to watch you leave without wanting to talk to me even when I was ready to fight my brother to protect you. I got to listen to my brother basically saying that I think I love you but you're toxic. I got to go to Bryce Walker's house, and sit on his couch believing he was going to try to grab me. Then I got to go home to my brother who thinks the only person who makes me unhappy is the guy I can't seem to let go. And I should let you go, and yet here I am locked in a room with you, and all I can think about is holding you because my heart hurts.

Alex:As a friend though right?

Jeff: Oh? When are we doing this?

After your brother almost crushed my windpipe and hearing the girl
I love tell her brother you'd leave me alone . I believed it . I wanted to
stay .. I wanted to actually punch your brother into a bloody pulp.
But I didn't . If I even opened my mouth, your brother would get in
my face . That night, I wanted to use so bad. I was in so much pain,

care if he would break my face in just so that I could crawl into bed with

Clay: Well he thinks I'm a crybaby I'm sure so I doubt I'd be helpful.

Melanie: That is the problem. You believe so easily that I'd spend that time with you, and so easily give up on you for what..because my brother doesn't want us together? Do you have no faith in me? (grabs his shirt, pulling her body closer to his as she drops her stuff and buries her face in his chest) GOD Justin. This sucks. I see both sides, I get that it is hard for you because of your past with drugs. And I see why he'd want me away from you because of the drugs. Everyone trying to protect me but no one letting me decide. I told you that I would tell you when I want you to leave, and I haven't told you to leave have I? (lifts her head and looks at him) Have i? I promise you that when I'm saying goodbye, I will say the damned words. If I don't say them then don't you dare assume I am. I will kick you in the nuts I swear to god.

Alex: If I like you as a friend I can also like you more than one

Chloe: my heart did a little flip, I think that's a good thing. I'm excited.

Jeff: How did you manage that so quickly?

Clay: I'd give him girl advice but I kinda need advice myself. (chuckles)

Melanie: oh I'd kick that hard too (smiles) you have to be patient with me. We can have moments at school, I'm still going to text you and call you, hopefully you do too. I'd say unless you know for sure Monty is gone, we probably shouldn't test fate. I'm not giving up on us just because my brother doesn't like you. I just have to play it smart so I can get him to see you're not a villain in his story trying to seduce his sister and drag her to the dark side in some secret harem you must possess.

Melanie: (chuckles) I'll try not to hurt your balls. (pushes up and kisses him) how long do you think we can hide in here before Tyler and his bunch comes in?

Alex: Do I have anything about my face that shows the damage from the shot? I always worry like I droop on one side.

isn't visible . And if you did have a droopy face, I'd still like you.

[ ZACH | :
( laughs ) I can always get full tonight .

[ VALENTINA | :
( smiles ) I never had someone wanting to fight for me

[ MONTY | :

Clay: If you have to ask, I'm not doing very well

Melanie: (wraps her arms around him, talking against his mouth) seeing as class pretty much just started..(smiles and kisses him)

Alex: I'm surprised you can see my charm under my sarcastic facade.

Chloe: I'd feel bad taking your food

Deni: Is that a good thing? (runs her fingers through her hair) I'd love to be able to have the ability to look flirtatious. Or I'll be single my entire life.
