Clay: The blood in my face just does what it wants to do. I can't control it

Melanie: (nods and takes his hand to lead him into the house and up to her room) Get comfortable. I can order the pizza.

Alex: I like to sleep until the last minute

Chloe: no way! I can't imagine your mom having a crush on anyone.

Jeff: (laughs) like my personal assistant/cheerleader

Deni: That sounds great. Take some time to just..unwind.

( nods and takes off his jacket then his shoes; takes his phone
out and gets comfortable against her headboard while reading

(puts his phone away) So he can't tell me where he is but he's okay and will let me know if he will be home later or not..well ..later

Melanie: (calls and orders the pizza before quickly shooting Monty a text)
--> I'm staying in tonight, movies and junk food. Be safe tonight.
(Puts her phone down and kicks off her shoes before climbing onto the bed with Justin) Clay checking on you?

Alex: Poptarts are best. Quick and easy

Chloe: How did you get so tall? She's so small

Jeff: Should I get you a shirt to wear when with me?

Deni: (tosses him the keys) It's a good thing I'm quick and know how to park a moving car on the fly by the way.

I am heading out to take Deni out for lunch, since I was an asshole

Clay: I don't really hear my own voice how others do so I honestly don't know if it changes.

Melanie: (grabs the remote and snuggles down half draped on him) He's good for you. I'm glad you have a brother type person. (hears her phone and grabs it real quick replying)

(sits her phone down beside her getting comfortable) Monty will be home later tonight, lunch date with Deni. I'll try not to fall asleep on you or anything.

Alex: Calling me a shrimp? I think you're just insulting me all over today, bully are you kat?

Jeff: Unless you want a pink shirt, I don't think I look good in pink. Clashes with my tan skin

Deni: I see movies of people doing it, I think my short stature makes me like a flea. Making large jumps out of nowhere.

Clay: I sound like I always scream. All raspy

Melanie: (rests her head on his chest and holds the remote out to him) pick something good. I have pretty much every streaming account you can have on this thing. I never want to miss a good movie or binge-worthy show. (exhales) I'm pretty sure you probably need sleep too. You have little circles under your eyes like Clay's snores give you nightmares.

Alex: Says you! (tugs a piece of her hair)

Chloe: The funny thing is..they assumed you were dating someone in another school because there was no way you were just single.

Jeff: I like sky blue, it's pretty nice

Deni: i was trying to move quickly. You try having little legs and running fast.

( laughs ) not at all .

[ JUSTIN | :
( smiles , holding her close ) I don't mind getting a good nap with you
to be honest . Maybe it'll be the best damned sleep . but then again,
we have pizza on the way .

Melanie: After pizza then. (leans up and kisses under his eye) I hear mid day naps are the best naps. We have about 20 minutes left before one of us has to get up when Pizza gets here.

Alex: If I really thought you were annoying I wouldn't still be here

Chloe: Oh I know. I remember in study group, it could be a tiny lie and I knew you were full of it

Jeff: Exactly like your eyes. It's a rare color around here, which sounds weird

Deni: I've never been on a skateboard, and last bike I had I was like..12.

Yeah, I've learned that a lot this year about you .

Clay: I'm passionate. And I'm standing by that.

Melanie: What all can be done in 20 minutes? (smiles) Want to enjoy all the time we can get to ourselves because it is hard to come by. Just having time.

Alex: Ironic since my dad's job is finding out mysteries right?

Chloe: Your sister just looks like she'd hate to tell a lie. I think it's sweet and innocent really. I got so good at lying because I had to, that it was hard to see the truth and the lies. They were all mixed together.

Jeff: Not the same color as yours. At least none I've looked at in their eyes

Deni: I walk pretty much everywhere. I suck at parking generally, so refuse to drive because I wouldn't be able to park.

So now that we know that Justin is somewhat okay,
what do you want to do ?

[ JUSTIN | :
I am trying to cherish every minute with you . I'm good
with being in our own little world.

[ KAT | :
I think your dad is pretty awesome .

Clay: I'm about to sound lame right now, but I don't know how to entertain.

Melanie: That's what we are going to do. Every time that we are together. We are going to enjoy it all we can. (pulls herself up and presses her lips to his softly and pulls back) I don't want to never get to say I did that.

Alex: I told him he looks like Lucifer on that Supernatural show Jess made me watch one time, and he told me that maybe he took an acting gig on the side to pay for my ability to eat him out of house and home.

Chloe: Alot of it is. My mom was always big on appearances, and it doesn't matter if you're genuinely happy as long as you look that way.

Jeff: Are we going to play softball or flirt? (raises his brow playfully)

Deni: What is going to happen to me? I trip?

( laughs ) we need to find fun stuff for you to do
in life .. like in general.

Melanie: (exhales softly ad she kisses him back)

Alex: everyone likes Dean. Is it because hes a typical bad boy type?

Chloe: if I let my smile slip I was just being a bitch. So I let them think that.

Jeff: I better see you hit a homer off my sad softball throw

Deni: you think I need protected?

Well what do you like to do besides drawing ?

[ JUSTIN |:
( pulls away , but stays close to her ) I Want to protect

Clay: I don't know. I know that sounds stupid that I don't know what I like to do. I'm not good at sports, so I can't try that. I'm kinda a shrimp.

Melanie: And even if you don't want to hear it, I will protect you. I know it goes against what you want but if I can find a way to protect you just know I will do it.

Alex: and that is why people say that nice guys finish last.

Chloe: You already are. I never told you about it but Bryce talked to me about me and you

Jeff: Uh huh (smirks) Are you ready?

Deni: Do you think he'd be so stupid as to try something when our families are so close?

I can't say that I am better . I don't do much besides cheerleading.

[ JUSTIN | :

I'm just not used to it . Me and Hannah, we weren't a thing .. And
Jessica, that wasn't healthy. Yes, I fought for her, but then in the
end she didn't fight much for me. But you ? I want to be what you
deserve in someone... I want to fight for you .. I need to stop running
away when shit gets tough. But I can't make any promises that whatever
we do with whatever we are, that I won't fuck up. I probably will. And
I will always end up finding a way to come through your window and
ask for your forgiveness.

[ KAT | :
Shit, I didn't think of that ( shakes her head ) what kinda' girls are
you into ?

[ ZACH | :

Anyone that I am close to, he goes after . The asshole
has something against me, and he is willing to get through
anyone I care about until he can get to me... Which won't happen,
because I will land myself in jail .

Clay: Well at least you do SOMETHING

Melanie: I get that. I can't say I will run because that's not what I do. I tend to fight more than the other half does and my brother is very protective of me because of that without realizing I'm the same for him. I can tell you that my brother will always be around. He's all I've had and I won't ignore him for someone I'm dating or whatever, but I also won't let him just run all over them because that's not me. So he's going to try to be an ass, you know that, but you have to trust me that I'm not going to change how I feel because he's leery of you.

Alex: I like girls that are open minded. I'm a sad little skinny kid, but I'm just that.

Chloe: When he found out about you going with me to the clinic, he said he was happy I wasn't by myself, I told him that you were with me. I was never alone. I know he hoped I had been alone.

Jeff: (over-exaggerates his windup and then throws)

Deni: I can help you with making sure he doesn't get near Melanie. I can see if I hear anything. I won't be obvious but I'm not going to let him get away with it.

You work at a movie theatre .. That's something ( chuckles )

[ JUSTIN | :
Maybe one day he would trust me again . I know I messed
up in the past with him and I know he's protective of you.
But I wouldn't hurt you. Not intentionally .

[ KAT | :
( smiles ) maybe the girl you'll end up with next, with make that
sadness into happiness .

[ ZACH | :
Because I saw you needed someone, and that douchebag
would not have been there. He didn't care.

[ VALENTINA | :
( focuses on the ball and hits it so hard that it gets pretty far )

Deni: (gets in the car) No problem. Gives me something to do, to focus my energy.

( rolls her eyes ) we can get you a little more
meat on those bones and do a strict gym schedule .
You've been better with the PT you do with Zach .

[ ZACH | :
Who would let someone be there alone ? Come on.

[ VALENTINA | :

( starts the car and drives off to Rosie's ) I appreciate you sticking
around . Who would've known that the girl trying to take my picture
while I wanted to be alone, ended up being the girl I am kinda' having
around me the most besides my sister.

Clay: I do sometimes, but not at the theater because it feels weird to hang out where you work

Melanie: (hits his arm and hears the door) Pizza. Find a movie for us to apparently fall asleep to (chuckles and hops up going downstairs to get the food)

Alex: I keep getting told to eat more protein. Am I supposed to just eat peanut butter right out of the jug?

Chloe: And that is why I am so lucky to have you that you have common decency and a big heart

Jeff: I see that. I think the size of the ball just fucks with my head, looks heavier

Deni: well I think it means you are opening your horizons by even hanging out with me rather than your sister.

That is definitely not what people mean. I mean, Peanut Butter
is good to snack on. But you need like shakes, meat, eggs. Those
kinds of things.

[ ZACH | :
( smiles, grabbing her hand and lacing their fingers
together ) well, as the duty of your boyfriend, I will
make sure you are happy and smiling every day .
Leave you flowers in your locker until you get a whole
bouquet of flowers .

[ VALENTINA | :
( laughs ) you're such a weirdo .. So are you trying to say

Well I felt like I had to, too. She needs to live her own life.
I can't keep hounding her all the time . I think the only time
