( goes over to everyone ) he's okay. He definitely looks so fragile .

JUSTIN | :
( looks at her and feels tears in his eyes ) I am so fucking sorry
( scoots over on the bed and pats the spot next to him ) I swear
I didn't overdose on purpose. I just wanted to forget .

KAT | :
( grabs his face, making him look at her ) you have me, to help
keep you sane and never think of these terrible suicide thoughts. okay ?

ZACH | :
( walks over to Chloe and Monty ) about what ?

VALENTINA | :
Goooo Clay . Sheri is a popular cheerleader . You must be so proud
of him ( laughs )

MONTY | :
About everything ( jokes and stands up ) I'ma go see Deni before
she bites her fingers off .

Clay: (walks over after talking to his mom) shes making plans to get him admitted to rehab

Melanie: (lifts herself up and sits on the bed with him) you could have just talked to me. I havent forgotten anything. I was laying in bed all day thinking of it all. Please me you're done with the drugs.

Alex: (nods) this fucked up town

Chloe: im a genius as always babe

Jeff: I guess I rubbed off on him just enough

Deni: (chewing her fingernails)

SHERI | :
Oh good .. This is the next step . This is happening .
Well, if Justin lets it .

JUSTIN | :
I am done . I was told I was dead .... And they revived me. I didn't say
anything because you ... you were fresh hurt with this ... And it was
haunting me. What he did ... I kept hearing and seeing Jessica's cries in
my head from that night ... I kept hearing about Hannah's tape , with her
seeing Bryce raped Jess, then her being raped .. And then me not being
there in time to help you . I couldn't sleep . I wanted to forget about it.
Not let it be in my head even if for some hours . I took too much and I
didn't know that ( shakes his head ) I am sorry I disappointed you . I
swear I didn't mean to.

KAT | :
( smiles and kisses him ) it sure is . And I hope if something is
ever bothering you, you'd come to me like you have been ever
since I've been back.

ZACH | :
( smiles and pulls her close ) had a talk with Melanie . I told her
she needed to do what her heart tells her to do . And whatever
her decision is completely up to her .

VALENTINA | :
( chuckles ) yes . That is good ( runs her fingers through his hair )
so what are you doing besides being bored ?

MONTY | :
( walks over to her with his hands in his pockets ) you're going
to go down to the nubs .

Clay: I think he will go with it

Melanie: I cant lose you. And I cant watch my trauma kill you. If you need to heal and I make it worse, I will let you go even if it kills me. Because I'd rather have you alive without me than have to bury you. I need to know what you want

Alex: I would talk to you. I trust you.

Chloe: which was the right thing to say. (Kisses his cheek) I'm proud of you

( nods ) I think this time around, he will definitely keep with his
promise and stay clean . I can tell .

JUSTIN | :
I - I need to go seek some help . I need to go to rehab to help me
stay clean ... I need to go away and get the help I need. To stay clean
for everyone, for you ..and for myself .

KAT | :
And, I you .

ZACH | :
I try . I love everyone here. Everyone is my family . I don't want anyone
hurting .

VALENTINA | :
( chuckles ) do you need to stay here or do you want to leave ?

MONTY | :
You're gonna have zero fingers .. stop it ( chuckles and sits next to her )

Clay: and I will be there for him however I can

Melanie: (rests her head on his shoulder) and I want you to get better. I know you can do it. I will will still be here

Alex: it helps to have that with someone

SHERI | :

JUSTIN | :
( looks down at her and frowns, weakly wiping his tears )

With talking to everyone, I feel like we all need to just
take it easy with each other ..

Clay: hopefully they allow visitors

Melanie: and when you are better, you can come back to me and we can finally be happy. And I will make sure Bryce Walker doesn't haunt us anymore. (Looks up at him)

Alex: shut up (fluffs her hair)

Chloe: it is. And it is why you're stuck with me

Jeff: I want to get the hell outta here. I'm not retaining any of this

Deni: that's why I walked away. I'm not in the mood to fight

SHERI | :
We can ask them . If not, maybe they'll make an exception
for you ?

JUSTIN | :
( feels his hands shaking a little and leans his head against hers )
can we leave here when I come back? Can we just go somewhere
new where no one knows us .. Somewhere that isn't going to be a
memory of ( his voice breaks ) this and how we are dealing with this

KAT | :
( smiles and kisses his nose )

ZACH | :
( smiles and nods; then lets his smile turn into a smirk ) told you
something was going on with Justin and Melanie ( laughs )

VALENTINA | :

MONTY | :
I know ( sits next to her ) hey ( lifts her face up with his finger )

Clay: family right?

Melanie: (touches his face) we will make new memories, we will have the lives we want. Where we can just be together without the audience.

Alex: look at you kissing on me in a hospital

Chloe: oh hush (chuckles) smarty pants

SHERI | :
Normally that's how it works. Yes.. and since you are family,
they would let you see him .

JUSTIN | :

Clay: I can work with that. And sneak him Intel on the others

Melanie: we will be happy and free, Justin. You finish this and get better and we can do anything. And you wont do any of this hospital visit business anymore

Alex: abuse. And in my mother's workplace. Shame.

Chloe: you will be wrong about something one day.

Jeff: are you going to carry me away like a princess charming?

Deni: I'm just trying to help everyone. And I felt if you were pissed she needed me more

SHERI | :
I am sure he would love that . Especially with Melanie too .

JUSTIN | :

( shakes his head ) I am so tired of living here and feeling
so useless and so broken.

KAT | :
( laughs ) I am sure your mom would ask what did you deserve

( laughs ) I probably would, and I would probably pout all damn

I was just pissed at the fact that she seemed like she gave up on Justin
so quick .. because of what happened .

Clay: it will hard to get back to being alone at home

Melanie: get the help you need Justin, everything else will fall into place. I will worry about everything else.

Alex: turning my own mom against me

Deni: I get it. She was just mad and talking out. And of course blaming herself for this so lashing out

SHERI | :
well I will be there to keep you company whenever you need it.

JUSTIN | :
( smiles ) okay, deal. I love you so much, Melanie .
I am so sorry that I scared you .

KAT | :
( laughs ) are you going to try to go see Justin ?

ZACH | :
( laughs ) it feels good to be right and not some big dumbass
like everyone thought I was .

VALENTINA | :
( laughs ) nope, not yet. YOU can carry me though.

MONTY | :
Yeah, it's just been one fucked up week.

Clay: how long do people typically take in rehab?

Melanie: I couldn't think what I could do if I lost you. I'm done with you being on drugs, I cant watch it anymore. I'm so thankful you decided to get help because I didnt know what to do if you chose to stay on. I love you so much, I cant lose you

Alex: I'm not sure. I feel weird, you know? We didnt really get along so I would have to be in a group of people who still hung out with him to hide in the back

Chloe: you have never been a dumbass

Jeff: the saved doesn't carry the savior

Deni: once mel gets out there and everyone else days there hellos, I hope this all gets better

SHERI | :
I think for as long as they need it . To know if they will stay sober
and clean .

JUSTIN | :
And, I love you . To be honest, after hearing I literally died .. I had to
change. In that moment that I did, I saw Hannah. She said she had
forgave me for everything that I've done . That I am still a good
person . She said no matter the shit I've done, it wasn't my time to
die . That I had so much to live for and to do. Said that Bryce was
the one who deserves to die . She pushed me awake.

KAT | :
yeah, same here . Especially with him being my ex. It would be
all sorts of awkward. But just knowing he's okay is all that I need.

ZACH | :
Well, I hope not ( laughs )

VALENTINA | :
( laughs ) anything or anywhere you want to go ?

MONTY | :
I really hope so, Den . I do .

Clay: But I've always heard that you are never fully going to be able to kick the temptation, you just learn to ignore it.

Melanie: (nods) I've told you that..you're a good person. An addiction doesn't equal a horrible person. I don't think she ever actually blamed you. She just needed to say that all of the events that led up to Bryce made her question her life and she made the decisions that led her the wrong way. (takes a deep breath) maybe one day you will see what we've been saying, without needing a push to stay here. I've obviously being doing a piss poor job at helping you heal. I'm sorry for that.

Alex: It's like when you go to a party, you wave and say hi but you never hang out with the party thrower

Chloe: you're my smart ass, sweet, baby face. (pats his face)

Jeff: I need pizza. Like a whole pizza.

Deni: (grabs his hand giving it a squeeze) Things will get better. One step has been put out. And Bryce will pay for ruining all of these lives.

SHERI | :
I guess it'll be a true test for Justin then .

JUSTIN | :
please don't apologize for nothing you did wrong
( shakes his head ) I am just .... stubborn . Hard-headed.
I am sorry for everything I've put you through. I am
blessed to have you in my life and honestly , sometimes I
wonder why you give me chance after chance when I don't
deserve it .

KAT | :
Do you want to get out of here ? We know he's okay . We can
tell your mom to tell him we stopped by to make sure he didn't die ?

ZACH | :
( chuckles ) thanks babe . I wonder when Melanie will stop sucking
face with him so that we can see him ( jokes )

VALENTINA | :

MONTY | :

Clay: I just dont want him to run off because this town sucks

Melanie: because you support people you love. And with a twin brother, I've learned how you can fight with someone and still be unable to live without them. I know you cant help what hurts you, you are a product of fucked up situations. You're flawed like I am, just in a different way. But if you do this, and then go back to drugs I will have to walk away. I can forgive fights over communication because we can fix that. But I cant bring back the dead.

Alex: which is the best idea?

Chloe: he probably started it.

Jeff: it is quite possible

Deni: legally.

SHERI | :
( nods ) that is understandable . But babe, what if that is
what he needs ? To be free of this town ?

JUSTIN | :
( sighs ) I know .... But I promise you . I won't touch drugs again .
I ... I don't want you to start hating me if I ever did ...

KAT | :
Both, to be honest . He will appreciate that we at least stopped
by so he knows we don't hate him .

ZACH | :
( laughs ) oh I am so with you on that .

VALENTINA | :
Which means, gym tomorrow ? I am okay with it .

MONTY | :
( shrugs ) not saying anything else .

Clay: then we all move

Melanie: I would never truly hate you. I would hate the decision, hate the circumstances but never truly you. And guess what, monty actually has accepted us. Finally.

Alex: (nods) I will go with your decision. I dont want to mess up any time he has with the others

Chloe: i think we are just that sickening to others. We love loudly.

Jeff: gotta have a cheat food day then make up for it. The Rock does.

Deni: (presses her lips together) it is better we dont. I heard his nose was broken, and he had a cast on his wrist. I wanted to see it but I promised not to be around him In any capacity

SHERI | :
So what you're trying to say is ... If Justin wants to move
when he gets out of rehab , you'd move too ?

JUSTIN | :

KAT | :
( nods and stands up, grabbing his hand ) let's go tell your mom .

ZACH | :
( laughs ) maybe we are rubbing off on others ( slyly points to Monty

VALENTINA | :

MONTY | :
( grins ) well, thanks to me, Justin and Jax ... That fucker deserved it .
I'll hit him with my car if I could get away with it .

Clay: family sticks together. If my mom wanted to leave we would leave.

Melanie: he said that hes finally learning to accept you because you are a good guy and you love me and I love you

Alex: (nods and stands walking to his mom) hey mom, we are going to head out

Chloe: to do what? Suck face?

Jeff: he is massive

JUSTIN | :
( nods ) well , I do ... Hey, can you do me a favor ? They put my
clothes over there .. can you bring me my jeans ? i have something
in my pocket that I've been carrying around in there that I meant
to give you before all of this happened .

KAT | :
Yeah, it would be weird if we went to go see him being that we
all don't talk, but would you mind telling him we stopped by ?

NURSE STANDALL | :
( puts her paperwork down, looking at them ) ofcourse . Be safe ...
Are you going home, Alex? I left some food for you and Peter to
heat up . Feel free to bring Kat by for some .

ZACH | :
That and be a couple ( laughs )

VALENTINA | :
Would you ever get like that ?

MONTY | :
