Melanie: (nods and hugs him close for a moment) be safe (kisses his cheek softly and pulls away slowly moving to get in the car)

Alex: probably. She was like food you know isnt good for you but you still wonder if it still is worth it

Chloe: (walks with Zach to the car) so I'm good to stay with you tonight?

Jeff: ruffles or plain?

Kaia: I could ask a deep question like why you guys do that but I think you dont know for sure

Deni: (gets in the car, turning around in her seat to watch and see if they need anything)

[ JUSTIN | :
( watches to make sure that she gets in safe then walks over
to Zach's car getting in once he unlocks the doors )

I think, she was the one you were trying to see if something
would be there, when someone else was waiting for you and only
Fate was waiting to send that person your way .

Ofcourse . Do we need to go grab some clothes for you ?

[ VALENTINA | :

( leans his head against the car window ; closing his eyes )

( nods ) alright sounds good ( looks at Justin as he gets into the
car and frowns ) want to grab anything to eat , Foley ?

[ VALENTINA | :

that came out .. The zesty cheddar ? Oh god ... I bought a big

( nods and closes her door; gets in the car and looks at Deni )

Melanie: (curls up in the back, half laying down)

Alex: tried to tease us a little first though

Chloe: let's get him home. It's been a stressful night.

Jeff: those things are hella thick

Deni: if you are already stopping I will take just something small

( nods and drives off to the Jensen house )

( nods and drives off to a quick drive thru place that Mel likes
and orders them all food then drives back to his place)

Clay: the most I get is the 5 o'clock shadow

Melanie: (sits up when she feels the car stop) we home?

Alex: they are. Unless I offend your cream cheese

Chloe: (looking out the window) it you need anything justin, just let us know. I know Zach sleeps like a new mother, always aware.

Jeff: I can admit that. I ate too many the other day and thought I would die

Kaia: is that good or bad?

Deni: (gets out of the car with the bags) I will carry the food

( narrows her eyes at him and smiles ) I love my cream cheese .

[ JUSTIN | :
( nods and gets out of the car, going into the house and
going upstairs )

[ VALENTINA | :
( laughs ) chump .

[ TOMMY | :
Nah, it's good .

[ MONTY |:
Thanks Deni and yes we are home ( gets out and helps her out
of the car and into the house )

Clay: telling me I should grow it out?

Melanie: I'm going to take my food to my room so I can shower and just lay down (gets her food from deni before turning Monty's hat sideways and going upstairs)

Alex: cream cheese sucka

Chloe: I wish I knew how to help the kid.

Jeff: no ass for you

Kaia: I feel like the little sister. I'd say I was the tiny version of her but we are the same height. I'm just more pixie.

Deni: (sits down and looks at him) you're worried still

NEW DAY

Clay: (Finishing up at his therapist appointment)

Melanie: (laying in bed, not sleeping but refusing to get up)

Alex: (ignoring his brother who is talking on the phone to him)

Chloe: (playing with Zach's hair)

Jeff: (at school studying for his ACT)

Deni: (sitting outside of her house, chewing on her bottom lip)

[ SHERI | :
( at Monet's getting a cup of coffee )

[ JUSTIN | :
( feeling exhausted, after not being able to sleep due to all the
nightmares he was having about Bryce and raping Hannah, Jess and
now Melanie; goes under his bed, grabbing his duffle bag and grabs
out his needles and his heroin; heats it up on a spoon, then filling
the needle up with too much than usual but by accident; wraps a
band around his arm and starts putting the needle into a track spot
he had recently done; starts to lay back after putting all of it into
his system )

[ KAT | :
( wrapped around him on his lap with her legs tightly around his back,
and her head laying on his shoulder , just in an innocent cuddle; listening
to his dumb brother talk about the game and how mad he was that some
little kid got him ; shakes her head )

[ ZACH | :
( taking photos of them; smiling ) you're honestly so sexy.

[ VALENTINA | :
( in her uncles car shop, trying to learn how to fix an engine
with Jax )

[ MONTY | :
( slouched in the livingroom, with Castle Rock faintly playing on
the tv; takes his phone out to text Deni )
- Hey, how's it going ? How'd it go with your mom ?

Clay: (texts Sheri)
-> hey I have to stop by the house to get some stuff then i will meet you. Where are you at?
(Gets in the car heading to his house)

Melanie: (texts jax)
--> thank you helping me.

Alex: dude, I dont care. (Rolls his eyes and runs her hand)

Chloe: that would be you

Jeff: (sneaks off calling Valentina)

Deni: (texts back)
--> she freaked out. Talked to his mom. He went to the hospital last night.

( texts back )
- Alright, sounds good! I am at Monet's

[ JAX | :
( feels his phone and wipes his hands on a rag ; takes his phone out
and smiles a little; texts back )
- Anything for u. Are u ok ?

[ PETER | :
I feel like this 12 year old is going to come after me .
When are you coming home ?

[ KAT | :
( speaks loud for Peter to hear ) Never Dumbledork .

[ ZACH | :
Whatt ? ( shows her the pic ) look at you . Right now
you look "My boyfriend just rocked my world" look going on
( laughs )

[ VALENTINA | :
ugh this is harder than I thought ( hears Jeff's ringtone ; smiles
big and wipes her hand from the oil ( picks up the phone, moving off
to the side ) hey boyfriend, I miss you .

[ MONTY | :
( texts back )
- Where are you ? I'll come to you

Clay: (gets home and walks into the room both he and Justin share) Hey Justin. Have you seen..(trails off seeing Justin laying on the bed) Justin (moves over to see the needle in his arm and reacts) Shit (runs over pulling it from his arm and checks his pulse before tilting him on his side and using his strength to lift him up carrying him to the car) Can't wait for the ambulance (sends a text to Sheri telling her to meet him at the hospital and calls Zach, talking before he even finishes answering) Justin's ODing, OD'd, fuck I don't know. (gets in starting the car and zooming out) I can't wait for the ambulance. Please call and tell them to be waiting for him, meet me there.

Melanie: (texts back)
--> I'm ok. I'm trying to get past it, and just let myself have my moment. I'm sorry I waited so long to get back to you.

Alex: Why am I saving you from a 12 year old is the real question. (smiles at Kat)

Chloe: maybe you do rock my world (hears his phone as the name pops up on the screen) Clay is calling

Jeff: I miss you too. I'm bored as hell here, save me

Deni: (texts back)
--> I'm at my house outside, I can't sit in there right now.

JUSTIN | :
( feels his chest tight and hard to breathe; wheezing
and feeling the blackness taking over )

SHERI | :
( reads the text and scrunches her nose ; puts her
laptop in her purse and leaves out, heading to the hospital )

JAXON | :
( texts back )
- It's ok. I was worried. My hand is pretty much in a
cast & it's hard to teach Val how to fix a car with my dad and this situation .
I wish I could've gone with you to the hospital .. Do you need anything ?

KAT | :
( smiles and kisses his jaw )

PETER | :
Fine ( whines ) when you come home, we'll hang out . Okay ?

ZACH | :
( picks up the phone, hearing Clay and jumps up so quick but careful not
to knock Chloe out ) shit shit shit ( hangs up, calling the hospital and telling them
Justin and Clay's description and what had happened ; calls Monty and tells him
what happened with Clay then hangs up ) Fuck!! ( gets off of the bed , throwing
on some sweats ) Justin OD'd and it's really bad, Clo ... We have to go to the
hospital .

VALENTINA | :
( laughs ) let me go in and clean up then . I'm at the shop with my uncle
and Jaxon, trying to learn how to fix an engine .

MONTY | :
( hangs up the phone ) Damnit, Foley ( texts Deni )

TO THE HOSPITAL... CLAY FOUND JUSTIN ON THE BED. HE OD'D
( runs up the stairs, skipping steps at a time until he gets to Mel's room )
Mel ... ( feels his throat surprisingly close up ) Justin is in the hospital .
Jensen found him ... He OD'd... And he's on the way to the hospital. It doesn't
look nice .

Clay: Don't you die on me Justin. You idiot. (tries his best not to get pulled over on his way to the hospital. Finally gets there and pulls up in the front, barely getting it into park in front of the doors before he's out and opening the door to get Justin out) HELP (pulls him out) my brother needs help right fucking now!

Melanie (texts him back)
--> I'm fine, thank you. Just be someone I can talk to when I need it and that's all I need
(jumps when Monty barges in and gasps) What? (gets up not even bothering to put shoes on) lets go (runs past him) Why the..ugghhh why would he do this? Why today? Why now? (runs outside and to the car)

Alex: we will hang out, promise.

Chloe: (hurriedly throws on some of zach's clothes she'd borrowed and ties the sweats) Let's go check on him

Jeff: Getting all greasy and oily for me?

Deni: (frowns at the text and stands up walking to the sidewalk waiting to see his car so she can just hop in)

Nurse - Carolyn Standall| :
( runs over with some of the transporters to get Justin on
a stretcher ; rushes him to a room ) wait out here .

PETER | :
Alright . Mom left some food for us to heat up later . Dad's
working late and mom just got called in to the hospital
something about an attempted drug suicide .

KAT | :
( frowns and mouths ) suicide ?

ZACH | :
( runs out with her, and gets in the car,starting it up and
driving off to the hospital )

VALENTINA | :
( smirks ) oh you know I am . You should see me . Literally got
oil on my face.

MONTY | :
( grabs shoes for her and gets into the car with her; tosses her shoes
on her lip ) put that shit on .. We are getting Deni ( speeds off towards
Deni's house, not caring about tickets )

Clay: of course. (scoffs and sits down in the waiting room) Wait out here like I can stay halfway sane myself. (shakes his head and puts it in his hands) fuck

Melanie: (grabs the shoes slipping them on) got it. (checks her phone to see if he'd sent her anything she hadn't noticed that would have explained anything) he didn't even say anything. Didn't fucking say anything like was it on purpose? Was it an accident?

Alex: suicide? Did she say anything about who it could be? (shrugs towards Kat)

Chloe: (holds onto the door as they drive quickly, not wanting for him to have to slow down) over there. Parking spot. (points when they hit the parking lot)

Jeff: Pic or it didn't happen

Deni: (spots them coming down the road and gives a wave letting them know just to pull up and she'll get in)

SHERI | :
( gets to the hospital and runs into the waiting room , looking
around for Clay ; sees him and runs towards him ) hey are you
okay ? What's going on ?

PETER | :
It's that kid you used to be friends with .

ZACH | :
( parks crooked, not caring in the world and runs inside
to where he sees Clay and Sheri ) Where is he ?

VALENTINA | :
( snorts ) hold on ( sends him a pic
*just picture it with regular glasses and some oil on her face* ) alright sent .

MONTY | :
( pulls next to her and waits for her to get in then pulls off towards
the hospital ) Clay found Justin with a needle in his arm and non-responsive .
He's at the hospital with him.

Clay: I found Justin in our room with a needle hanging out of his arm. I couldn't get him to respond so I just hauled him in myself. (looks up to see Zach) They wheeled him back. Made me stay here. He started gasping unable to breathe on our way here.

Melanie: (curls up in the seat, holding it in)

Alex: That sure lists a few. Hold on.. (thinks through them) Did it sound like Justin?

Chloe; (runs in with him and listens to Clay)

Jeff: (looks at the pic) Look at you all cute

Deni: The hell? (looks towards Mel then back at him) we have got to stop finding a way to be put in the hospital.

SHERI | :
( gets down on her knees infront of Clay; holds his hands )
baby, Justin will be okay. Let's just send prayers his way.

KAT | :
( sits up fast ) what?

PETER | :
yeah, she told me to tell you when I could. I told her you were
with your girlfriend.

ZACH | :
fuck man! ( looks at Chloe ) he seemed off too. When everything
happened. While Melanie was with Courtney.. Justin was gripping
his hair. It was like he was in pain. Like he was fighting something.

SHERI | :
Wait, what happened to Melanie?

ZACH | :
Bryce raped her. At the party.

VALENTINA | :
( laughs) even with grease on my face?

MONTY | :
( looks over at Mel then pulls into the parking lot ) I know.
Come on. Let's hope he's OK.

Clay: what? That has to be it. He's been kinda having trouble with dealing with Hannah and Jessica, right? And this had to throw him over the edge.

Melanie: (sits up and gets out of the car going in, fiddling with the bottom of her shirt looking at their friends in the waiting room)

Alex: and you told me about the 12 year old first. I gotta go check on him. Bye (hangs up and gets up) We gotta go. I hate the kid half the time, but I saved him once from dying after shooting up. I'm not watching this kill him.

Chloe: This is getting ridiculous. (tosses her hands up) what else is going to happen as a result of Bryce? Hannah's dead, Alex tried to kill himself, Jessica is completely screwed up, Justin is in the hospital, Melanie got raped, I had a crazy ex boyfriend who forced me into stuff. I heard from Bryce once about Clay threatening him...he's poison

Jeff: especially with grease on your face

Deni: (walks in after Melanie, places her hands on her arm as she listens to their friends) how's he doing guys?

SHERI | :
so, PTSD? He's been so fragile. I can't believe this is happening.

KAT | :
Shit ( grabs her keys and walks to her car ) I wonder what
spurred this on.

ZACH | :
I am tired of Bryce and his bullshit. I won't let Justin die
because of him. ( looks at Mel and Deni) we haven't heard
anything yet.

VALENTINA | :
Is that what turns you on???

MONTY | :
fuck, after this I'm cutting him some slack.

Clay: He's been using casually..just enough to keep him sane and I guess..today he snapped

Melanie: I'm not. (looks to Monty and at everyone else) I'm not going to go easy on him. (walks off to the vending machines)

Alex: (follows her) who the hell knows. Last time I didn't know why either.

Chloe: We need to figure out a plan to make sure this doesn't fly.

Jeff: being dirty?

Deni: I've told my mom about what happened, she spoke to his mother and last night Bryce was brought in to the hospital for injuries he said were sustained in an unprovoked attack at a party. (bites her lip)
